DISTRACTION MARKERS & PRIVACY FILM
Distraction markers, also known as safety markings, are required on glass doors and panels in commercial spaces to make the glass more visible and reduce the risk of people walking into them.
Building codes require that there be distraction markers or film on all transparent glass doors, dividers, windows and sidelights from floor to ceiling.
Transparent glass doors and fixed adjacent transparent glass sidelights need to be marked in two areas on the glass surface. The locations are at least 30″ from the floor and the other at least 60 above the ground.
